About Dale Entertainment
Caron Dale is the founder of Dale Entertainment. She has participated in and produced many recordings, some of which include her original compositions. Caron has been performing and writing music most of her life, beginning with a guest performance on a radio show at the age of 13, and looks forward to sharing the process with others.
Caron formed a number of performing groups during high school and at the University of Connecticut. In 1983, having only lived in Washington DC for a short time, Caron was seeking a venue for her performance of ethnic music - Lox & Vodka was born, www.LoxVodka.com. "I am so honored to work with the incredibly high level of musicianship that comprises Lox & Vodka," Caron said in a recent interview. "We've performed at so many wonderful venues, running the full gamut of performances from President Clinton, Democratic and Republican members of the House and Senate, the Grand Opening of the MCI Center in Washington, DC and being the Kennedy Center's Artist in Residence. Being part of Lox & Vodka has been a true blessing for me."
Caron is also an Early Childhood Music Specialist. She formed her own company, Music on the Move, which uses children's natural curiosity to ignite the imaginations of children through music while improving listening, memory, coordination, language and concentration skills.
Prior to her foray into music as a full time performer/teacher, Caron was Member Service Director at Union Privilege, an arm of the AFL-CIO, responsible for the department that developed and marketed member benefit programs including: mutual funds, mortgages and travel. She was Manager for the Close-Up Foundation’s Program for Older Americans responsible for marketing a national program on political education for seniors. In addition, Caron was a Financial Services Specialist with AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) overseeing the marketing and management of a multi-billion dollar money market fund with 500,000 participants.
