A Different Expression
Judaism has been a life journey. Through music, I continually search for the center of my spiritual tootsie pop always exploring, questioning and singing! Through my original songs and diverse repertoire, my goal is to create an exciting and thought provoking spiritual experience.
As Cantorial Soloist for Hevrat Shalom Congregation in Gaithersburg, Maryland, I perform High Holy Day, Shabbat and Holiday Services. In addition, I like to bring my joie de vivre to the Religious School students and the congregants for special events such as the Chanukah chag, Purim Fest and Model Seder. Through music, I want to bring each congregant into the moment to help them on their journey to where they need to be.
"Caron brings warmth, ruach and joy to her services. Her singing is so beautiful that I want to sit back and be carried to new depths of my soul. However, the way she engages participation carries me to even deeper places in my heart and in my soul. She is a leader who engages adults and children. A service led by Caron is what Shabbat was created to do, give a taste of Olam Ha-Bah in Olam Ha-zeh."
Herb Levy, Ritual Leader, Kol Ami, Northern Virginia Reconstructionist Community
I have been honored to provide music for Wedding and B'nai Mitzvah Services and celebrations from DC to California and in between. I have also been a guest Cantorial Soloist at many Congregations for Shabbat, Havdallah and holidays. And with my band, Lox & Vodka, I have made a joyous sound with klezmer, Jewish and dance music at concerts and private events for over two decades.
"Caron Dale is among the most dynamic and entertaining Cantorial Soloists I have worked with. She brings the beauty of Jewish tradition and music, enhancing religious services through congregational involvement while creating a spiritual aura which is very refreshing."
